KeraLase is a laser treatment for hair thinning or hair loss due to environmental, hormonal, or physiological factors like stress. KeraLase is also great if you are preparing for a surgical hair transplant or using other hair loss treatments like Rogaine or minoxidil. KeraLase™ is a state-of-the-art laser device – the Lutronic LaseMD laser, that creates micro-channels in the scalp that allows us to deliver Kerafactor, a proprietary blend of proteins and growth factors designed to stimulate hair growth and revitalize the scalp. Improved scalp health and hair growth can be seen through a series of treatments scheduled one month apart for optimum hair growth.
It has been shown that these micro-channels allow five times higher absorption of nano-liposomes and increase the delivery of nutrients found in the serum. The peptides in the serum specifically support increased blood supply and help transition resting hairs into the growing phase of hair growth. KeraFactor is the serum used with Keralase. It has a patent-pending formula that combines seven bio-identical growth factors for scalp revitalization. We are adding growth factors that are deficient in the skin when you have poor hair health or lose your hair. The serum is created specifically for Keralase.
Using Keralase, the laser painlessly creates microchannels in the upper dermis of the scalp. The microchannels allow the product to penetrate deep into the skin. This is much less painful than traditional Natural Growth Factor Injections injections. In addition, you can use KeraLase to nurture hair follicles and those who have hair implants.

What to Expect During Treatment
Certified providers will safely and effectively perform your treatment. It usually takes about 30 minutes for treatment, depending on the size of the area being treated. You may feel warmth or a slight stinging sensation, but patients say the treatment is comfortable.
Patients must arrive with clean hair, washed that day or the night before. It must be dry and have NO products at all in it, not even conditioner.
How many treatments will I need?
Treatment plans may vary, but the primary protocol is a package of 6 treatments, done once a month for 6 months. The treatment package includes the Kerafactor and a 3 month supply of Nutrafol vitamins. Patients will likely want to remain on the vitamins. It is possible to schedule a single Keralase treatment going forward if needed for a boost. The cost is $2500 for a 6-month package.
What are the recovery protocols?
You should experience minimal discomfort from the treatment, which means minimal downtime. After treatment, you may notice some hairs shed, but this is normal. Immediately following treatment, there may be some mild redness or swelling. Your hair may feel damp from the serum. This should all diminish after a few hours.
What results can I expect?
Results appear as your scalp health improves. The appearance of thicker and healthier hair should occur within 3 months. However, each individual is different, and all patients cannot be guaranteed the same results. Many people see improvement after 1 month!
