Microneedling
There are 3 levels of micro-needling: microchanneling, micro-needling, and radiofrequency micro-needling.
As we age, we don’t produce as much collagen as we used to, which contributes to aging. Microneedling creates a controlled injury to the skin that triggers your body to heal. This process reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles, acne scars, sunspots, minimizes large pores, improves hyperpigmentation, and can tighten skin. By opening up, these microchannels are able to penetrate into the dermis and tighten skin by opening up these microchannels to allow skincare products can penetrate deep into the skin.
During your treatment, we will apply either Natural Growth Factor Injections, ProCell growth factors, Hyaluronic acid (HA), or Vitamin C (for hyperpigmentation). By applying these specifically formulated solutions during micro-needling, we can be assured the active ingredients will penetrate the dermis.

Stimulating collagen with microneedling is enhanced by using (Natural Growth Factor Injections) and either microneedling it or injecting it into the dermis, or by rolling on ProCell therapies growth factors. We obtain the Natural Growth Factor Injections by taking a blood sample from your arm, spinning it in a centrifuge, and separating the plasma and the platelets. Microneedling with Natural Growth Factor Injections can be used in many areas of the body, including your face, neck, décolleté, arms, abdomen, back, legs, and hands. This gives cells the ability to naturally stimulate the healing process.

Microneedling is also called Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) can involve using a microneedling device like a pen (Collagen PIN). You will have some minor bleeding during treatment, or if we use Natural Growth Factor Injections, we apply your platelets to your face and microneedle the Natural Growth Factor Injections into your skin. The microneedling pen introduces tiny controlled wounds into your skin. This process triggers the release of natural growth factors, elastin, and new collagen. The process causes less damage to your skin than lasers or other ablative treatments. Microneedling helps to protect new skin cell growth and provides a much faster healing process. The success rate of Collagen PIN treatment is exceptionally good and produces long-lasting results.Microchanneling is very similar, does not go as deep, so it is not as traumatic for skin and has no downtime. Yet still gives great results.
Microneedling can correct Many skin problems like fine lines and wrinkles, sun-damaged skin, aging, perioral lines, rhytides, melasma, and hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, sagging, and rough texture. It can even help with hair growth. Three to six treatments will give you long-term results.

These growth factors support cellular renewal and have strong regenerating properties to improve skin firmness, elasticity, texture and tone. For many of us, this is a more effective option than Natural Growth Factor Injections. The ProCell stem cells can be used with almost any treatment everglow offers. We especially like to use these roll-on stem cells and aftercare with microchanneling, Pixel8 Radio Frequency Microneedling and our Erbium resurfacing treatment.
The treatment doesn’t hurt, but it is not a “feel-good” treatment, either. If you have pain during the treatment, ask your skincare professional to apply topical numbing cream.
The skin could be reddish for the first 24 to 48 hours. However, you can use good-quality mineral makeup to help cover up the redness within 90 minutes of your treatments.
Procell Microdhannelin treatments are very safe, and side effects, other than a reddish face, are uncommon if the treatment is performed by a trained skincare professional.
After treatment, it is suggested:
- Avoid washing your face for about six hours.
- Nothing topical should be applied to your skin for at least 90 minutes.
- Do not exfoliate for at least seven days.
- Use sun protection when you are out in the sun.
- Do not o swimming or jogging for the first 72 hours.
- Avoid anti-inflammatory medication until your aesthetician tells you it is okay.
- Do not use makeup for at least six hours after your treatment.

The PiXel8-RF provides correct and controlled coagulation and hemostasis to help stimulate collagen production and provide skin tightening and rejuvenation. The microneedle depth can be adjusted accordingly for each and every treatment area, especially for delicate areas such as under the eyes, the forehead and cheek bones.
The PiXel8-RF, unlike laser treatments, can definitely be used on all skin types. It only uses radio frequency energy. Thus, there is no risk of thermal damage to the epidermis and it almost eliminates the risk of PIH in darker skin types.
Patients usually experience very minimal to no downtime after the PiXel8-RF procedure. Only a few restrictions are common after an RF microneedling procedure. The treated area may be red for up to a full day. Your downtime may increase if the magnitude of the procedure is deeper. Be sure to ask your specialist for a detailed estimate of downtime.
Most patients will experience some redness and some minor swelling which will typically ease off within 24 hours or less. The patient may apply makeup after the 24 hours.
The PiXel8-RF procedure normally lasts about 20 minutes. It will take an additional 30 minutes if the treatment area needs to be prepared. Obvious results are generally seen after just one procedure. A three-treatment series is highly recommended to help you achieve maximum benefits.
